Pumpkin Carving Competition at Vickery's

Where: Vickery’s Shem Creek

When: October 29 at 6:00 p.m.

What: Come outside at Muddy’s Dock Bar for a friendly and ghoulish GOURD carving competition. Bring your own pumpkin (or vegetable) & carving supplies.

Fall Flicks at Carolina Park: The Nightmare Before Christmas

Where: Carolina Park Recreation Complex

When: October 23 at 6:00 p.m.

What: Come out to Carolina Park Recreation Complex Friday nights in October to eat dinner & watch an outdoor movie!

Halloween Fun on the Yorktown

Where: Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum

When: October 30 – November 1

What: Visitors dressed in a Halloween costume will be offered the children’s rate for admission. Bulldog Tours will offer special daytime ghost tours.

Inaugural Paddleboard Race for Vets

Where: Red’s Ice House

When: October 31 at 2:00 p.m.

What: Cheer on the managers at Red’s Ice House as they paddle it out for first place while you enjoy beer specials and swag!

The Hair Lab to Feed up to 900 Families this Thanksgiving

The Hair Lab is asking for non-perishable food items to be donated to their food drive. For each item dropped off you will be entered to win a Hair Tool Bundle worth over $500!
