“Absolutely amazing – I have been coming to Charleston since 2007 and never knew about this park. It’s so kid friendly with tons of play equipment. The park is right under the bridge too so you can walk on the pier & you have a great view of the harbor. I wish I would have stayed for the sunset. Will definitely be back on my next trip!!!”—UNCQueen2003, Charlotte, NC; May 2017 – Memorial Waterfront Park

“On the recommendation of a friend back home, we took Uber from Charleston to spend the afternoon in Shem Creek. What a wonderful experience, that I am super glad we didn’t miss! We walked on the walkways. We saw dolphins, pelicans, and snow egrets. We saw a man who had just caught a crab and I took an awesome picture of him holding it! Fishermen were intent on catching their fish, and tourists were intent on relaxing.  A “you can’t miss it” place…wish we had stayed for sunset!” – Lauri P, Courtland, NY; June 2017 – Shem Creek Park
