Holiday Inn Express Celebrates Grand Opening in Mount Pleasant

MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (February 6, 2017) – Holiday Inn Express Mount Pleasant – NE celebrated the grand opening of their new location in Mount Pleasant Thursday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Mount Pleasant Mayor Linda Page, along with Councilmen Gary Santos, Mark Smith, Elton Carrier, and Jim Owens, as well as  Chris Staubes, President of the Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce, joined regional tourism leaders to honor the new addition to the Town.

Located conveniently near the corner of Highway 17 North and the Isle of Palms Connector, at 1104 Stockade Lane, the new Holiday Inn Express is a 103-room hotel serving the business and leisure traveler.  Guests are drawn to this hotel for a variety of reasons whether visiting friends and relatives in Mount Pleasant, touring Mount Pleasant, Historic Charleston and the Lowcountry, or spending quality time on the beautiful beaches nearby.  This limited-service hotel, with a fabulous complimentary hot breakfast buffet, is strategically situated to impress travelers to the region.

This hotel is the first for Ashley Pointe Hospitality, LLC, a company affiliated with Jupiter Holdings, which also oversees management of four Blue Water convenience stores and two Sonic Drive-Ins in the Town.  Along with four SuperSuds carwashes, Jupiter Holdings continues to invest in the Town of Mount Pleasant by updating its properties and converting uses where market need dictates.
