Join the Latin Groove and the Town of Mount Pleasant Culture, Arts & Pride Commission as we celebrate the start of Hispanic Heritage Month with fun music, vendors and a Caja de Cuerdas concert!
Caja de Cuerdas brings together musicians of diverse backgrounds in Classical, Jazz, Latin, Rock and Popular Music from around the world as well as original pieces. You won’t want to miss this evening filled with Latin inspired Music.
Enjoy an introductory salsa lesson at intermission and be sure to grab a delicious picnic dinner from a food truck!

Annual Oyster Roast to benefit local children
On Thursday, February 23rd, Carolina Children’s Charity will partner with Water’s Edge located at 1407 Shrimp Boat Lane on Shem Creek for our 11th Annual Oyster Roast with live and silent auctions to benefit
Lowcountry children with birth defects and childhood diseases. Your attendance at this fun, family event at the Cabana Bar from 5pm – 8pm will support a unique, local charity and our mission. The cost to participate is $30 in advance and $35 day of based on availability. Tickets are limited to the Oyster Roast so we recommend getting tickets in advance. Children 12 and under are free. Tickets include: ALL YOU CAN EAT OYSTERS, BBQ, LOWCOUNTRY BOIL, and more. CASH BAR WITH HAPPY HOUR FROM 4-7. Live Music by “Late For Dinner”. Community supporters can participate with the silent auction online and live
