Mount Pleasant Holiday Market & Craft Show

11:00 am - 4:00 pm

The annual Holiday Market & Craft Show combines all the goodies from our traditional food market such as locally grown fresh produce, baked goods, hot food, and homemade preserves with handcrafted gifts created by local artisans. Come see this year’s wonderful assortment of Christmas ornaments, glasswork, whimsical crafts, and a wide variety of original art by locally recognized potters, artists, craftsmen, and photographers. Activities

Live entertainment with a holiday twist will kindle the holiday spirit throughout the market. Children’s activities will include balloon art, caricature drawings, and a visit with Santa Claus, who will listen to Christmas wishes and hand out surprises. The annual Holiday Market provides the perfect opportunity for customers to complete their holiday shopping and purchase original pieces from talented local artists. As always, admission and parking are free and all residents and visitors are welcome to delight in this unique shopping experience.


Vendor Applications

The Town of Mount Pleasant invites all interested food vendors, artists and craft vendors to submit applications for its Holiday Market & Craft Show. Please carefully review market information and APPLICATION before submitting.


Acceptable to the Market:

Craft Vendors: Original works in any category listed on application. The participating artist must be the one who conceived the design and executed the finished product. Commercial or mass-produced items are not acceptable. Any craftsperson or artist age 18 or older may submit an application.

Farmers: Produce or plants grown on your farm (at least 50%) and produce indigenous to the State of South Carolina.

Prepared Food Vendors: Food products must be prepared by the vendor, who must adhere to DHEC or Dept. of Agriculture rules and regulations. DHEC may be onsite the day of the event. All prepared food must be made in a commercial DHEC-approved kitchen. Please list kitchen address and DHEC permit number on the application. Cottage Law vendors are not accepted.

Mount Pleasant Christmas Light Parade

5:30 pm - 8:00 pm

Brilliantly lit floats and community groups will march up West Coleman Boulevard as the Mount Pleasant Christmas Light Parade sets sail to the delight of thousands of residents and visitors. The festivities begin at 5:30 p.m. with a spectacular Pyrotecnico fireworks show, immediately followed by the start of the parade at Live Oak Dr. traveling south and ending at the intersection of W. Coleman Blvd. and Patriots Point Rd. All updates about the status of this event will be posted to the Facebook Event Page.


To Enter the 30th Annual Town of Mount Pleasant Christmas Light Parade, please carefully review requirements and rules, then fill out and submit APPLICATION per included instructions.



Coleman Boulevard Road Closure Schedule:



  • Whilden St. to Pherigo St. closes at 4:00 p.m. for the lineup

  • Whilden St. to Patriots Point Rd. closes at 5:00 p.m.

  • Ravenel Bridge off-ramp onto Coleman Blvd. closes at 5:00 (all traffic diverted to Highway 17)

  • Patriots Point Rd. from Coleman Blvd. to Harry Hallman Blvd. closes at 5:00 (all Patriots Point and hotel/golf course traffic will divert onto Harry Hallman)


Know Before You Go!


ATTENTION DRONE PILOTS: To help ensure we have a safe event, the Town of Mount Pleasant requests that drone pilots not fly over or along the parade route. Pilots are reminded that the Federal Aviation Authority requires a Part 107 Waiver if they are going to fly at night or fly over people.
