Sea Island Medical Care Ribbon Cutting

MOUNT PLEASANT, SC (July 16, 2019) — Business Development Manager John Holladay, Councilman Jim Owens with Mount Pleasant Chamber of Commerce President Shane Griffin and President Emeritus Chris Staubes joined the owners of Sea Island Medical Care Bet and Vinnie Rhodes at the grand opening and ribbon cutting of their new office today. 

 

Located in the new Lowes Foods Shopping Center on Highway 41 in Mt Pleasant and convenient to surrounding neighborhoods, Sea Island Medical Care is excited to serve primary and urgent health care needs of the surrounding community.

 

Sea Island is a locally owned and operated medical clinic offering both primary care needs for those patients still looking for a family practitioner, as well as, urgent care needs for those with a doctor but who need to be seen immediately and cannot get into see their physician.

Sea Island Medical Care will offer extended hours on week days, weekend hours and is also open most holidays — accommodating all ages down to 6 months of age. Specific services will be available onsite such as; X-ray, EKG, laceration repair, IV fluids, care for nonemergent issues such as flu, sinus infections as well as routine care of chronic medical conditions such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes.

With back to school preparations beginning, Sea Island Medical Care is supporting local schools and is now offering $15 sports physicals for athletes in the Lowcountry.   Five dollars of each $15 physical will be donated back to the athlete’s school/athletic department of choice.
