The Boone Hall Pumpkin Patch is one of the largest fall festivals in South Carolina. Come together with all groups of people to enjoy a day on the farm with a pumpkin patch, tractor tours, a petting zoo with pony rides, live performances, nature exhibits and more!

Navy 250th Celebration + Yorktown Veterans Meet & Greet

Oct 11, 2025

10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum will commemorate the U.S. Navy’s 250th anniversary with a special day of celebration aboard the historic aircraft carrier USS Yorktown (CV-10).  In honor of the occasion, Patriots Point is offering $3 off all general admission tickets purchased in person on October 11.


At 12:00 p.m., a ceremonial cake cutting will take place in Hangar Bay 1 on the USS Yorktown, marking both the Navy’s 250th birthday and the enduring legacy of Yorktown sailors.


Following the ceremony, at 1:00 p.m., Mark C. Fava—author of Lessons from the Admiral: Naval Wisdom and Sea Stories for Leaders—will deliver a speech and host a book signing in the Smokey Stover Theater.

Trick or Treat on the Yorktown

Join Patriots Point for some spooky fun to trick or treat your way through the USS Yorktown!


Get ready for a night of candy, costumes, and fun aboard this historic ship! The annual Trick or Treat on the Yorktown event is back!


This event includes:



  • Candy Stations

  • Costume Contest

  • Pumpkin Painting

  • Halloween Activities

  • Food Trucks

  • & More!


Event Details:



  • Tickets for this event are free, but all attendees ages 2 and up must reserve a ticket to attend. Children under the age of 2 receive free admission and do not require a ticket.

  • Only clear bags are allowed at Patriots Point’s Trick or Treat on the Yorktown. Small non-clear clutches (max 4.5″x6.5″) are okay. Please note that diaper bags must also be clear. All items are subject to search. Items not meeting guidelines must be returned to your vehicle.

  • We ask that guests bring their own trick-or-treat bags for those with children who are participating in the candy stations. Trick-or-treat bags are not required to be clear, but they must be empty at entry.

  • This event is rain or shine.

  • Parking is available in the Patriots Point lot. Space is limited. Parking fees are not included in event tickets and must be paid separately based on posted rates.

Old and new traditions delight at the 38th Annual Town of Mount Pleasant Children’s Day Festival presented by Harris Teeter! Families will enjoy carnival rides, inflatable slides, live entertainment, pony rides, games, and many other activities!  Admission and all activities are free. Free parking is available at Cario Middle School and Charles Pinckney/Laurel Hill as well as Kids Teeth – shuttles run all day or simply use the school’s cut-through for a nice short walk!
