Sweetgrass Half Marathon & 10K

The Mount Pleasant Recreation Department will host the 6th Annual Sweetgrass Half Marathon & 10K at 7:30 am Saturday, February 28, 2026. Each race begins and ends at the Park West Recreational Complex in Mount Pleasant.
Runners start at the Mount Pleasant Recreation Complex and run through the picturesque Carolina Park neighborhood. This is a flat and fast course. Runners enjoy marsh views along Darrell Creek on the way to completing the race!
Runner packet pickup occurs the afternoon before at Blue Sky Endurance at Carolina Park, Â 3510 Park Ave Blvd Suite 102, Mount Pleasant, SC 29466 or the morning of the race at the Park West Recreation Complex Lakeside Pavilion. Shirt Size not guaranteed for entries after Feb 1st.
Be sure to stick around after the race to enjoy the Running of the Weenies at 10:30 a.m. where you’ll giggle away any sore muscles watching dachshunds sprint for their own finish line!
