Isle of Palms and Sullivan’s Island Beaches
Mount Pleasant is a coastal destination, however, the town does not technically have beaches. This does not mean you cannot enjoy the sun and sand! Just over 10 miles away are miles of pristine beaches at Isle of Palms and Sullivan’s Island. To get an idea of proximity, Pitt Street Bridge in Mount Pleasant used to connect to Sullivan’s Island. Both locations offer a family-friendly beach atmosphere but there are slight differences.
