You are more than likely to see wildlife such as fiddler crabs, birds, fish, and possibly dolphins looking for a tasty snack from the fishing boats! Pitt Street Bridge Park offers an amazing coastal experience for everyone, including your pups! Explore a land bridge lined with Palmetto trees with stunning views of the Charleston Harbor. As one of the best sunset destinations in Mount Pleasant, Pitt Street Bridge is also a great spot for a picnic!

Palmetto Islands County Park
Go island hopping, Mount Pleasant style! Mount Pleasant Palmetto Islands County Park is a nature-oriented, 943-acre park designed for family and group use. The park is built in a tropical setting, with bicycle paths, boardwalks, nature trails, and picnic sites with grills located throughout the park for your enjoyment.

Memorial Waterfront Park
Located at the base of the Cooper River Bridge, this park is known as the “Crown Jewel of Mount Pleasant”. There are several walking paths, benches, and open green lawns for you and your furbabies to enjoy. The park also features a gift shop with ice cream and wide panoramic views of the Cooper River. Note: The Mount Pleasant Pier near the park is not pet-friendly.

If you want to traverse through a variety of nature trails with your best friend, Laurel Hill County Park has you covered! Depending upon the trail you choose, you will make your way through woods, open meadows, marshland, boardwalks, and an alley of mature oak trees.
