The Mount Pleasant Farmers Market is a gathering place for locals and visitors to leisurely explore the market’s treasure trove of the freshest local vegetables, fruits, seafood, flowers, baked and canned goods, fresh-cooked meals and snacks. Cooper River Bridge Run
The Cooper River Bridge Run is the best-organized and best-conducted 10-K race in the world. It includes world-class competition in a unique setting with unparalleled participant satisfaction. This event is a collaboration between the Town of Mount Pleasant and the City of Charleston.

The Annual Blessing of the Fleet & Seafood Festival is one of the most highly anticipated events of the year! The festival pays tribute to the local shrimping and fishing industry. Participants are treated to the ceremonial blessing of the shrimp/fishing fleet, savory seafood samplings sold by some of Mount Pleasant’s best restaurants, live music, a craft show, shag and shrimp-eating contests and family-friendly activities.

The Mount Pleasant Artists Guild presents a juried art show. All activities and performances are free of charge. The event attracts residents and visitors of all ages, from young parents and children to seniors.
