This is one of the top things to do near Charleston, South Carolina, for the 4th of July. Come aboard the legendary USS Yorktown to enjoy an evening packed with live music, local food vendors, drinks, and family-friendly entertainment. As the sun sets, you will experience a dazzling fireworks display, lighting up the Charleston Harbor and the Cooper River Bridge!

This year’s celebration is bigger than ever, marking America’s 250th anniversary and the 50th anniversary of Patriots Point. This 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular at Patriots Point delivers the perfect mix of history, celebration, and coastal views with unbeatable scenery, patriotic energy, and a milestone year to celebrate!

This event does sell out quickly! If the USS Yorktown venue is sold out, you can still view the fireworks from anywhere in Mount Pleasant where the sky above the Charleston Harbor is visible. Popular viewing locations include Memorial Waterfront Park, the Mount Pleasant Pier, Shem Creek Park, Pitt Street Bridge Park, and available areas on Patriots Point. The Wonders’ Way Pedestrian Path on the Cooper River Bridge is inaccessible during the fireworks show – it is not a viewing location.
